Prioritize strategies within the city's 2027-2030 Strategic Plan
Work is underway to update the City of Boulder's Citywide Strategic Plan for 2027-2030, in partnership with city departments, city council, and community.
The Citywide Strategic Plan is a staff guidance document and serves as:
- A system for prioritization of programs, services, projects, and initiatives.
- A roadmap for advancing Sustainability, Equity, and Resilience (SER) Framework goals and implementing Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan policies in a digestible four-year increment.
- An instrument for meeting the needs of the moment.
- A way to empower all staff to do more efficient, effective, and enterprising work through all levels of the organization and across departments.

Which of the following three (3) strategies would have the most positive impact for you and your family in the next four years?
Which of the following three (3) strategies would have the most positive impact for our entire community in the next four years?
Choose one strategy and imagine that work on this strategy is very successful over the next four years. Then, create a 2030 newspaper headline celebrating this success. What would the headline be in 2030?
Example: for the 'Treat Nature as Infrastructure' strategy, a headline could be: "City significantly increases healthy tree canopy and partners on new rain gardens since 2027, cooling our streets and improving the health of our water."
From your perspective, are there any strategies missing from this current list?
